Role Overview:
You will take ownership of building the recruitment business from the ground up by acquiring new clients and driving business growth. Aditionally, you will be a pivotal link between clients and candidates, utilizing your expertise to match exceptional talent with the right opportunities.
This role also requires a senior professional with the potential to be groomed into a team manager or someone who already has experience in team management or mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Build the recruitment business from scratch by proactively identifying and acquiring new clients, establishing a strong client base, and driving revenue growth.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and stay updated on industry trends, ensuring a competitive edge in client acquisition and business expansion.
- Develop tailored recruitment solutions for clients, effectively positioning the organization as a trusted partner in meeting their talent needs.
Client and Candidate Management:
- Cultivate robust relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and preferences.
- Strategically align suitable candidates with client requirements, focusing on temporary/contract placements, while maintaining a record of successful placements.
- Develop sourcing strategies and assess candidate suitability, conducting comprehensive interviews and providing valuable guidance to build a pool of qualified candidates.
- Provide proactive support to candidates, offering advice on CV enhancement, interview techniques, and managing expectations to create a positive experience.
Team Management and Mentorship:
- Work closely with senior management to develop leadership skills with the potential to grow into a team management role.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced recruiters, fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture.
- Act as a resource within the team, helping to coach peers, share best practices, and contribute to the professional growth of others.
Systems, Operations, and Team Collaboration:
- Ensure adherence to administrative procedures, maintaining accurate records, and updating job postings to facilitate smooth operations.
- Collaborate effectively within the team and organisation, actively contributing to achieving collective goals while fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Embrace a sales-oriented approach, demonstrating resilience and a proactive attitude towards achieving set objectives.
Requirements:
- Preferably possess CEI (basic, non-FDW) certification.
- Minimum Diploma Holders with proven performance in recruitment and/or team management or mentoring experience.
- Strong sales orientation, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to success.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities with the potential to grow into a team management role.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
