Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble and secure cargo on Unit Load Devices (ULDs) or pallets according to the flight or delivery plan.
- Break down incoming cargo from ULDs or pallets for distribution and processing.
- Follow load plans to maximize space and weight distribution efficiency.
- Verify documentation to ensure cargo is correctly labeled and routed.
- Conduct visual checks to confirm cargo condition before and after build-up.
- Ensure that hazardous materials, oversized items, or fragile cargo are handled and labeled appropriately.
- Comply with workplace safety regulations and company SOPs during all operations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to handle cargo efficiently.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work afternoon shifts and occasional overtime as needed.
