Responsibilities:
● To lead the contractors in HSE compliances.
● Prepare daily reports of work progress, reports daily manpower.
● Able to supervise and plan the daily activities by the contractors.
● Countersign and verified contractor’s completed works.
● Coordinate with the contractors to achieve the targets and schedule.
● Endorse daily work permits and ensure activities are executed safety.
● Participate in the project walkabouts and HSE Safety tour.
● Participate in HSE reporting in the Synergi System.
● Supervision of all piping and mechanical works prefabrication and installations and ensure compliances to Quality Plan.
● Review and endorse contractors documentations
● Inspection and approval of all QA/QC submittals for the contractors
● Able to coordinate with operation and maintenance team.
● Supervise, check and review of Isometric Drawing & P&ID in every system for status verification and conformity as per latest revision and update necessary for pipe spools installations, tie-ins (welding/flange connections), the closure/golden welds details.
● Perform mechanical checks for static to verify and confirm installations accordingly done as per latest IFC Drawings and Vendor Procedures.
● Perform review and line check on approved system test packages for completeness, compliance and system punch list and clearing.
● Perform supervision on piping/mechanical works during Turn-Around, Commissioning and Start-up of the project.
Desired Skills & Experience:
● B.Sc. or minimum diploma in engineering discipline.
● Extensive experience in brownfield for process plants.
● Experience in Piping and Equipment Prefabrication and Installation.
● Experience in Turnaround projects is a must.
● Strong focus on project delivery skills, ability to recognize opportunities and respond to client needs, to network easily with a variety of stakeholders.
● Strong self-leadership skills, hands-on mentality and desire to grow and further develop in your role.
● Should have good skills in spoken and written English.
● Understanding of the challenges and complexities of a project organization (EPC/EPCM)
● Experience in design and maintenance tasks is considered an asset
● Good knowledge of International Codes and Standards (ASME, AWS, ASTM, API)
● Must have valid training certificates required per MOM Safety Regulations
● Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
● Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate to people of all levels
● You will report to the Construction Manager, but you are expected to work very independently, collaborating closely and networking easily with the project organization.
