IT Business Analyst | Agile

We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst with a focus on data analytics to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business teams to understand citizen/business needs using human-centric, visual methods such as service journeys, and develop the appropriate business case.
- Apply Design Thinking / Service Design methodology and tools to identify current state gaps and challenges, and design future state solutions.
- Work with project teams to develop user stories, functional/technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and draw actionable insights that inform business decisions.
- Design and develop interactive data visualizations and dashboards to communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure the availability, quality, and accuracy of data for reporting and visualization purposes.
- Evaluate and recommend suitable technology solutions for business analytics, including cloud-based analytics platforms, data warehousing solutions, and enterprise business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure that analytics solutions align with business goals.
- Identify and adopt the appropriate development methodology (e.g., Agile or Waterfall) based on project requirements and environment (Outsourced, Co-Sourced, or In-house).
- Lead and participate in Agile practices and ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) where Agile methodology is adopted.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements through data-driven insights and reporting.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT business analysis, application solution design, data analytics, and testing.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar) to build interactive dashboards and reports.
- Experience participating in at least one full software or product development cycle, preferably using Agile methodology.
- Strong analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data interpretation and visualization.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to pitch ideas, influence stakeholders, and effectively communicate data-driven insights.
- A driven and motivated personality with an inquisitive mind and the ability to learn and apply new concepts effectively.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration is a plus.
