Responsibilities and Duties
• Prepare accounts for assigned vessels up to monthly closure for Senior Accountant review.
• Issue client invoices, manage payments, and oversee vessel finances.
• Perform all accounting tasks, including invoicing, expenses, payments, payroll, and ledger updates.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and review statements.
• Validate master’s month-end cash statements.
• Settle accounts and payments after approval.
• Submit financial reports and notify the Senior Accountant of variances.
• Assist in preparing annual financial reports.
• Record entries and generate monthly reports per client's standards.
Requirements:
• Degree in Accountancy/Finance/CPA/ACCA
• 2+ years of accounting experience in vessel management and reporting
• Proficient in Accounts, Tax, and GST reporting
• Detail-oriented team player who meets deadlines
• Experience in Shipping/Ship Management is essential
