Role Overview
- To assist in technical investigations in case of fault calls and regularly review the preventive and corrective maintenance activities for property in the aviation sector. He / She should be a competent problem solver on the ground, possessing strong technical knowledge in building and M&E maintenance and ability to liaise with service providers to ensure maintenance or repair works are carried out timely.
Role Responsibilities
- To review preventive and corrective maintenance works to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards and regulations
- To lead technical investigations in response to fault calls
- To review documentation on procedure and schedules of maintenance works
- To track inventory levels of spare parts, consumables and non-consumable items
- To prepare technical reports and / or monthly reports where required
- To conduct risk assessments in accordance to regulatory and organisational Workplace Safety and Health(WSH) policies and practices
- Responsible for initiating and tracking all purchase requisitions and closing of work orders, including thepreparation of costing for all proposed works to his supervisors for approval and liaison with client reps.
- Liaising with term and adhoc contractors for all appointed works and coordinating with relevantstakeholders for approval and work executions, including reporting work progress and completion.
- Reporting to the Engineer and appointed reporting supervisor for any adhoc work matters.
