Our client is a global leader in the design, engineering, and construction of high-tech facilities, including life sciences and data centre projects. They always strive to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring safe, sustainable, and functional environments. They are going through growth mode in recent years and are now looking to expand their headcount with a principal architect.
Your new role
A few of your responsibilities would be ;
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop mechanical systems designs meeting project objectives.
· Lead design development, implementation, and handover.
· Review and ensure technical compliance with client requirements.
· Coordinate with internal teams like Civil, Archi, Electrical, Process, and Piping.
· Manage project costs, budgeting, and tender documentation.
· Chair sub-contractor progress meetings and client weekly meetings.
· Mentor and train junior engineers.
· Ensure compliance with quality assurance and safety standards.
What you'll need to succeed
· Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
· 6-8 years of relevant experience in design and construction, preferably in industrial buildings, life sciences, and pharmaceutical sectors.
· Strong technical expertise and leadership skills.
· Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
