Roles & Responsibilies :
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and standards.
- Develop, implement, and update safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Conduct regular workplace risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Collaborate with teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Organize and deliver safety training programs to employees and contractors.
- Promote safety awareness and best practices throughout the organization.
- Serve as the point of contact for safety-related incidents and emergencies.
- Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Work closely with management and employees to foster a culture of safety excellence.
- Encourage reporting of near-misses and safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, near-misses, safety training, and safety inspections.
- Prepare and submit regular safety reports to management.
- Analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Propose and implement safety initiatives to enhance the overall safety performance.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Must be registered WSHO with MOM
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in workplace health and safety management, preferably in an industrial or maritime setting.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and safety best practices.
- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
