We are seeking a motivated candidate to join as a Senior Officer / Deputy Manager within the Corporate Banking Department, with a focus on origination, structuring, execution, and maintenance of lending relationships for targeted corporate clients. Reporting to the Corporate Banking Team Leader, this role offers a career development opportunity for candidates with the right experience, skillset, and aptitude.
Responsibilities:
- Originate, structure, and execute loan transactions (bilateral, club, or syndication basis) for entities based in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan across Asia.
- Provide a full suite of corporate banking products, including but not limited to banking accounts, trade financing facilities, bilateral RCF/TLF, syndicated loans, and risk participation loans (funded and unfunded).
- Prepare detailed credit applications (including financial analysis, credit risk evaluation, and annual account reviews) and perform continuous account monitoring to maintain a robust and profitable portfolio.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance banking relationships, supporting the business plan to expand and diversify the client base within the Corporate Banking Department.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments, including Risk Management, Legal & Compliance, Operations, and Treasury, to ensure timely approval and efficient execution of transactions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal credit, and lending guidelines.
Requirements:
- Recognized Bachelor’s Degree or higher; Accounting, Finance, or Business-related qualifications are an advantage.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant corporate banking experience, preferably with an Asia-focused client base.
- Strong business acumen, corporate banking product expertise, and keen awareness of regional market trends.
- Potential for development toward a leadership position within the team.
