COUNCIL ON INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONL EXCHANGE (CIEE)


CIEE is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization, CIEE is the world leader in international education and exchange. For more than 75 years CIEE has helped thousands of people gain the knowledge and skills necessary to live and work in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world by offering the most comprehensive, relevant, and valuable exchange programs available. Serving over 300 U.S. College and University consortium members, CIEE operates in more than forty study centers globally and support study abroad programs for over 6,000 students annually.


The main responsibilities include the following:

  • Participating in the pre-placement interview with students and assisting students on Work Holiday Pass application.
  • Assisting in internship placement, pass application, sourcing internship host company.
  • Assisting with the coordination and delivery of CIEE student activities and events including; Airport arrivals, orientation, farewells, logistics of study tours, and extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.
  • Supporting the development, and coordination of health and ground programs as per needed.
  • Assisting with the coordination of placement and management of student housing.
  • Responding to medical and other emergencies as appropriate. Ensuring proficient and timely reporting of student cases to management, including timely reporting in Salesforce for incidents. Training will be provided.
  • Other duties as directed.




Qualifications:

  • At least a diploma.
  • Candidates with Certificate of Employment Intermediaries – CEI will be prioritised, otherwise training will be provided.
  • Candidates with no experience or fresh graduate are welcomed to apply.
  • Highly motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and computer skill.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic, positive attitude with the ability to think “out of the box”.



4 days' work week, may be required to work on selected weekends or public holiday (compensated with off-in-lieu)

Working hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm

Location: Newton
