Assistant Manager, IT Applications

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle Liner Management System (LMS) application, and ensure application system availability and reliability.
  • Document and manage Business/Requirement Specifications and Design Workflows as necessary. Translate business needs into solutions.
  • Work with offshore team to lead, manage and track development items as per defined timelines. Perform reviews on deliverables to ensure on quality
  • Identify opportunities for improvements & propose technical/business solutions.
  • Lead change impact analysis, define timelines, manage projects tasks and keep track on progress
  • Guide and participate in the pre-Users/QA Testing, provide User Guides/Manuals, Release Notes, Manage User Onboarding and Conduct User Trainings as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Information System /Computer Science or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience in Shipping environment, API interfaces to various operation system
  • Business Analysis, Domain Knowledge & SME
  • Possess working knowledge of Oracle databases and SQL.
  • Experience in full-life cycle software development, including developing multi-tiered enterprise applications with Microsoft technologies.
