Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the entire process of producing detailed shop drawings
- Must be able to lead, manage and check all kinds of Shop Drawings
- Coordination with relevant departments for technical/detailed shop-drawings submissions for approval including Consultants and Authorities
- Ensure that all technical/detailed shop-drawings are compliant with the relevant codes and/or regulatory requirements
- Required to carried out work smoothly done on site and ensure handing over in accordance with schedule given
- Ensure that all shop drawing must be done with constructability to site requirements, be practical, easy to understand, able to meet clients expectations and good profitability for the Company
- To provide evaluation/findings and project results to HQ Tokyo in Japan on a frequent basis
Requirements:
- Degree/Masters in Architecture or equivalent
- Minimum 20 - 25 years of working experience in the related field
- Proficient in Software such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
- Able to lead a team
- Fluency in spoken and written Japanese is necessary as the incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate with counterparts in Japan, Tokyo Head Office such as monthly progress reports
- Ability to prioritize tasks well and able to work independently
- Required to be resourceful, pay attention to details and has good communication skills
