Job Description – Employability Executive [Job Coaching] (1-year contract) Lakeside Area, S'pore 619606.


The Executive will support the job matching of persons with special needs into suitable job roles. He/She will work closely with key stakeholders such as employers, co-workers, caregivers, support networks, to identify workplace requirements and oversee placement of trainees into related job roles. He/She will work with the employers to identify required training and accommodation at the workplace for long term continued employment of these trainees. He/She provides job coaching support for a specified duration after the trainees are placed into jobs.


Job Responsibilities

  •  Develop effective job coaching and employment plans
  •  Source and secure relevant training opportunities

o Provide support during training

o Assist trainees to discover and overcome their personal

barriers and set goals

o Discover trainees’ strengths and motivation, work with them

to develop their skills

o Guide trainees in learning to complete job tasks

  •  Conduct job-readiness assessment

o Profile trainees to employers for suitable job roles

o Conduct job site analysis to assess suitability

o Advise on workplace accommodations for these trainees

  •  Provide post-placement job support

o Design and implement job support strategies to sustain

employment

o Educate, share best practices and establish rapport with the

employers, supervisors/co-workers

o Document job support logs


Requirements

  • Preferably experience in working with persons with special needs
  • Strong people management and coaching skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in managing stakeholders to build relationships and drive collaboration.
  • Those with relevant experience will be considered for Senior Employability Executive [Job Coaching] position.
