ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project site supervision, inspection, documentation, and coordination for architectural, interior fit-out works and landscape works for healthcare project
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Supervise and inspect all construction works, including architectural, interior, facade, and landscape works, including interfacing with building services.
· Inspect and monitor the quality of architectural materials delivered to the site.
· Check and ensure all materials, construction, and/or installations are in accordance to approved specifications, drawings, samples, and method statements. To highlight to the Client/Consultants any deviations or non-compliant works carried out by the Contractor.
· Check and ensure works are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance to statutory requirements.
· Monitor project progress schedule and quality standards and ensure quality and timeline objectives are met.
· Keep and maintain proper and updated daily records of site progress and all works done, including records of tests, inspections, the status of work, safety, site diary, material and equipment on site, labor, dayworks, provisional quantities, etc. for easy retrieval and reference.
· Attend all site, progress technical coordination, and BIM meetings.
· Provide daily updates and weekly reports on the status and progress of the Contractor’s work, including potential problems, defects, and non-compliance.
· Coordinate with the Contractor and Employer’s direct vendors for furniture/equipment in the execution of affected works to ensure no implication to work progress.
· Perform other related duties as required by the Client/Consultants.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Possess a Recognised Technician Diploma or ITC Certificate (Higher NITEC/NITEC) or relevant National Construction Certificate of Supervision (NCCS) in Architectural or its equivalent
· Must be accredited RTO by BCA/IES/ACES.
· Fully conversant with statutory regulations and requirements.
· Familiar with BCA CONQUAS, Quality Mark assessment and safety aspects for site supervision, quality control procedures, and BIM.
· Meticulous and detail-oriented in quality management and ensuring good workmanship.
· Responsible and proactive in resolving and managing site issues with good team spirit, communication & interpersonal skills.
· Minimum 5 years of relevant site experience in as a full-time RTO
· Experience in supervising architectural and interior design supervision of multi-storey buildings in Singapore with precast construction and possess good knowledge of architectural finishing works and relevant local construction codes and practices is an advantage.
· Previous site supervision experience in healthcare projects is an advantage.
