We are a boutique law firm founded by Senior Counsel N Sreenivasan. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality legal services to our clients, with a focus on Litigation and Dispute Resolution. Employees who join us can expect a collaborative and supportive work environment.


Job Summary:

You will be responsible for assisting with accounts and providing administrative support to our lawyers. You should be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and have a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in accounts entries, raise payments and record claims;
  • File opening and billing / invoicing matters;
  • File and document management including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, travel bookings, printing and saving documents;
  • Conduct various searches such as business profile, people profile and cause book searches;
  • Support lawyers in hearing / trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing trial binders;
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications;
  • Arranging for registered post and dispatches; and
  • Pantry and receptionist duties where required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts & Admin Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and Court rules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), legal software (e.g. Clio, Filevine) and accounts software (e.g Xero, Quickbooks)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Additional Qualities and Experience

  • Experience handling law firm accounts and claims.
  • Experience with billing software and time tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with ICMS and e-Litigation.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
