Responsibilities:
- Foster strong relationships with client stakeholders to deepen client engagement and support ongoing business development.
- Define project scopes and objectives in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility.
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure flawless project execution.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans to monitor and track progress, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Apply effective verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Track and evaluate project performance using appropriate tools, systems, and methodologies.
- Monitor and manage submissions and approvals from relevant authorities.
- Supervise the performance of general contractors, site managers, and construction team members.
- Facilitate daily coordination meetings on-site to ensure effective communication and planning.
- Identify and address potential or actual delays, implementing preventive or corrective measures as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Manage resources, including construction materials, workforce, and equipment, ensuring availability and efficient allocation.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to minimize project risks.
- Oversee safety management systems, perform periodic safety inspections, and lead safety initiatives per management directives, reporting and escalating issues as necessary.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all project phases.
- Review and approve project claims from clients and subcontractors while ensuring timely submissions to clients.
- Ensure timely submission of project timesheets into the ERP system.
- Support company audits at all levels (e.g., ISO compliance).
- Approve the selection and engagement of suppliers and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with the HR department to address project recruitment needs.
- Prepare and participate in weekly schedule meetings with management to review progress and plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8–10 years of experience in construction management, civil engineering, or project-related roles.
- Possession of a Project Manager Safety Course Certificate is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD; familiarity with SketchUp is a bonus.
- Proven expertise in client and team management, with strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with individuals from diverse nationalities and backgrounds.
- Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- In-depth knowledge of regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety standards in marine construction.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site, including in remote or offshore locations.
- Physically fit and able to adapt to various project environments.
- Flexible to work beyond standard hours to address client requests and meet project demands as required.
