Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to gather vessel specifications and pricing details for marine dredging and construction projects.
- Manage the complete sales cycle independently, from lead generation and preparing quotations to payment collection.
- Promote and deliver safety services tailored to client needs.
- Develop precise and competitive quotations based on thorough market analysis.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring contracts align with both company standards and client requirements, while staying updated on relevant marine laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of vessel details, quotations, and sales data, ensuring all information is digitalized and stored in comprehensive databases.
- Oversee the post-sales process, including client follow-ups, providing ongoing support, and ensuring timely payment collection.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or Business Administration.
- Additional certifications in marine operations or sales management are highly desirable.
- At least 5 years of sales experience in marine dredging, construction, or related industries.
- Demonstrated success in managing the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, deal closure, and post-sales management.
- Proven expertise in sourcing vessel specifications and conducting cost estimations within the marine sector.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients or participate in industry events; owning personal transportation is advantageous.
- A well-established network of contacts within the marine industry is a significant asset.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly self-motivated and capable of managing projects independently.
