Responsibilities:
- Ensure company business processes comply with all applicable International Trade Compliance laws and regulations.
- Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and customs brokers to facilitate and track delivery, troubleshooting and communication of delivery status to the customers, Logistics Manager, Customer Service groups, and 3PL providers.
- Safeguard providing permitted documents required for realization of import and export deliveries in conformity with the contracts of the division.
- Oversee warehouse and transportation performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time), and resolve performance issues.
- Review transportation costs to keep working costs low.
- Central contact for timely submission and application of controlled goods shipments report to government agencies, as and when necessary.
- Ensure Harmonized HS code in logistics and documentation.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree from Supply Chain Management or related disciplines.
- 3 years to 5 years relevant working experience in a fast paced environment.
- Good knowledge cost accounting principle - like monitor the transport cost
- A team player.
- Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems including Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse.
