Job Description
- Contribute to the school’s ethos, aligning with the Mission statement in all interactions with staff and students.
- Support the HOD/ICT in managing school-based initiatives and projects.
- Provide ICT technical support and assistance across the school.
- Research, recommend, and support the procurement of ICT and AV resources and infrastructure.
- Manage user accounts for administrative portals (e.g., Apple School Manager, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) while ensuring security protocols are followed.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with computing and AV devices within the school.
- Oversee the loaning of school equipment and manage insurance for defects during the warranty period.
- Coordinate the periodic replacement and decommissioning of ICT equipment.
- Assist with stock-taking of ICT assets and collaborate with the IT support team to manage inventory.
- Manage ICT helpdesk requests, including password resets, device loans, troubleshooting, and software installation.
- Record events, lessons, and competitions for school-related activities.
- Set up and provide AV support for events, assemblies, and meetings.
- Manage video production for school-based initiatives and projects.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Principal, VP, HOD/ICT, or ICT Manager.
Job Requirement
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Mother Tongue.
- Strong communication skills, capable of advising on ICT systems and policies.
- A good team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff and students.
- Positive attitude and a proactive approach to work.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Eager to learn and grow in the ICT field.
- Proficient in ICT systems, software, and hardware.
- Skilled in setting up and operating Audio/Video systems, with knowledge of preventive maintenance.
- Capable of troubleshooting system and equipment faults.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in an Apple iPad PDLP school is preferred.
