We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to manage the quality assurance of our internal business products / systems, critical to supporting our mobile gaming company's business operations. This role requires leadership and expertise to ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of systems, tools, and platforms used across departments. You will guide a team of QA engineers, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and maintain high-quality standards for essential non-game systems, ensuring a seamless operation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance Functionality
Collaborate closely with requirement ayalise, system design and code reivew, create test plans and product / project quality standard. Manage the test cases and create testbench for integration test, performance test, etc.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure internal systems meet functional and user experience standards.
Track and analyze quality issues, offering insights and developing improvement plans to enhance system performance and quality, with a focus on data insights and data sensitivity to ensure compliance and security standards.
Drive continuous collaboration with automation/stability QA teams to develop internal tools, frameworks, and platforms that increase team productivity and testing efficiency.
Review system implementations to ensure accurate data collection and analytics integration. - Team Management & Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers, providing coaching, guidance, and training to ensure effective performance.
Proactively resolve internal escalations and work with the team to identify and address issues that impact productivity.
Ensure both front-end and back-end systems are reviewed thoroughly to maintain optimal quality and performance.
Proactively identify and resolve issues impacting team productivity by working with the team, peers, and management
Implement and refine policies and processes to ensure a positive, efficient, and productive work environment. - Cross-Department Collaboration
Serve as the main contact for local quality issues, working closely with related QA teams to resolve challenges and optimize system performance.
Collaborate with teams in IT, development, and operations to align internal systems with business goals.
Collaborate with peers to improve the overall quality of internal systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and expectations
In-depth understanding of the business, communicate and collaborate with various participants (teams), create value for the business, and work without boundaries. - Recruitment & Talent Development
Partner with the recruiting team to identify, interview, and hire top QA talent for local openings.
Work with the team to train new hires and help them integrate smoothly into the QA process. - Documentation & Reporting
Provide clear, comprehensive documentation on testing processes, quality improvements, and issues.
Maintain detailed reports on progress, risks, and quality metrics, keeping stakeholders informed on all QA activities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years in quality assurance of Internet products , with proven experience in a leadership role. Experience with business-critical or internal systems is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail), and experience with automation frameworks; experience with CRM or ERP platforms is beneficial.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or Go), Familiar with web/server/automation architecture, understanding at least one application framework.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Demonstrated experience in automated testing, performance testing, and quality system construction. With deeply undstanding on the testing theory and methodology, and hands-on experience in building CI/CD pipelines, server-side performance testing, and QA standards for complex business systems.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bilingual with the ability to converse in Mandarin will be an advantage to liaise with mandarin speaking stakeholders.
