Job Title: Senior Project Manager (ID8351)
Location: Bukit Batok, Singapore
Working Hour: 5.5 days, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday 8am to 12pm, however sometimes may required to work at off duty hours according to operation arrangement
Salary: $7000 - $12000
Job Description:
- Manage client stakeholders, build relationships and deepen client accounts to assist in on-going business development.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Monitor submissions and clearances from relevant authorities.
- Oversee the performance of the general contractor, site manager and other members of the construction team.
- Ensure daily coordination meeting is conducted on site.
- Identify potential or actual causes of delay and take preventive or remedial actions.
- Establish, manage and maintain the relationship with the clients, vendors, and all stakeholders.
- Manage resources such as construction materials, construction workers and equipment. Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Check safety management system and conduct periodic safety inspection. Lead safety effort in line with management direction. Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Approval of project claim from clients/ sub-contractors.
- Ensure timely claim submission to clients.
- Ensure timely project timesheet submission in ERP system.
- Assist in company audit on each level (eg: ISO)
- Approve the engagement of Supplier / Sub-contractor.
- Coordinate with HR department on project recruitment’s requirement.
- Prepare and attend weekly schedule meeting with management.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or relevant field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experiences in both marine and construction management only.
- Possess Certificate of Project Manager Safety Course is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD etc. Knowledge in SketchUp will be an advantage.
- Strong capability in client management and team/people management. High EQ to manage and work effectively with workers and divers from different nationalities and backgrounds.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety standards in marine construction.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site, sometimes in remote or offshore locations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various project environments.
- Willing to work beyond standard working hours to respond to client’s requests and project exigencies, whenever required by projects.
