Manager, SingHealth AI Office
The SingHealth AI Office brings together a multi-disciplinary team with the vision to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) for advancing academic medicine. The office has 4 key functions:
- Drive research and development
- Attract commercial partnerships
- Support AI analytics and governance
- Support AI education
Be part of a leading AI team here at the SingHealth AI Health Office and be involved in projects in the clinical and operational space. You will work with comprehensive patient data, including medical records and imaging, from a large and diverse patient population with various health conditions. This role offers a unique blend of strategic, technical, and operational experiences in the rapidly evolving field of healthcare AI.
In this role, you will:
- Contribute to AI strategy development and implementation across the cluster
- Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary AI projects, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies
- Generate and maintain the dashboard for AI projects and initiatives
- Engage with industry partners, enhancing your network in the AI and healthcare sectors
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders in AI project scoping and technology translation
- Develop expertise in drafting and managing research agreements and grants
- Lead AI education initiatives, including events and seminars
- Work closely with the Group Communications team to develop publicity materials for AI projects
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, building your knowledge of regulatory requirements in healthcare AI
Job Requirements
- Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- At least 8 years academia or industry experience business development/ market access/ marketing/ technology transfer in either commercial, banking, technology and healthcare domains or related experience, with at least 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
- Ability to do business model financial modelling will be an advantage.
- Prior experience in dealing with industrial partners and collaborators, and in negotiating and completing relevant agreements (research collaboration agreements, licenses)
- Ability to drive and strategise AI commercialisation activities in the clinical space.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure creative deal structures and develop conceptual solutions.
- Ability to work independently as well as contribute proactively as a team player.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in using Microsoft Office, Excel and related software
