Job Description:
- Develop, design, program, analyze, debug, and modify software applications using PowerBuilder.
- Maintain development and test environments for PowerBuilder applications.
- Write SQL queries and optimize them for Oracle databases.
- Work with Agile methodology and deliver high-quality code within tight timelines.
- Manage the version control system using SVN/Git and bug tracking using JIRA.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- More than 5 years of experience in development, enhancement, and testing of PowerBuilder applications.
- Experienced in programming using PowerBuilder (versions 12.1, 11.5, 10.5, 10, 9, 8, 7), PowerBuilder Foundation Class Library (PFC) and visual and non-visual user objects.
- Strong knowledge of Data Windows, OOPS concepts like Inheritance, Polymorphism etc., and ODBC.
- Experienced in development and test environment setup.
- Experienced in working with PowerBuilder IDE, SVN/Git repository, and JIRA based bug tracking.
- Experienced with Oracle DB and excellent understanding of SQL queries.
- Strong problem solving & communication skills.
