Senior/Quantity Surveyor (Tender/Project, A1 main con)
Our client is a reputable A1 main contractor renowned for delivering a wide range of standout projects, including mixed-use developments, residential complexes, commercial properties, MRT projects, and theme parks. They pride themselves to have built some of Singapore’s most iconic landmarks.
Following their recent award of a landmark mixed development project, they are expanding their team with several exciting opportunities for Senior Quantity Surveyors to contribute to the tendering of other dynamic projects, with the opportunity to transition into project QS roles once awarded.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for construction projects
- Work closely with the project team, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project understanding is accurate
- Review of cost impact (Value Engineering proposal/ Variations)
- Monitor project costs and provide detailed tender analysis and recommendations where suitable
- Evaluate and review contract terms within tenders and resolve any contractual queries
- Ensure timely completion of tender submissions and compliance with safety and industry standards
Requirements
- Degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant QS experience in the construction industry
- Must possess some experience in tendering work
