What You Will Do
Collections:
- Responsible for monthly collections of a specified amount. Handle client requests, send weekly reminders, and follow up on overdue accounts every 14 day until payment is received.
- Update and check the AR list weekly, coordinate with the credit control team to generate SOA, and chase payments.
Billings:
- Generate bills through the portal and track to ensure monthly targets are met.
- Compile managers' billing data in a pivot table, match against their allocated portfolio, and inform them of unfulfilled amounts and revenue targets.
- Manage fee recovery for each engagement, adjust recovery rates, and bill upon completion of work.
- Address low fee recoveries by flagging to managers for potential fee increases.
- Discuss financial matters with the finance team as needed.
Reports:
- Prepare weekly reports to track revenue targets.
- Update new and lost clients weekly.
- Prepare monthly management reports summarizing total portfolio revenue for forecasting.
- Generate various reports as requested by management.
Budgets:
- Track all tax deliverables and revenue in terms of Compliance, GST, Personal tax, Advisory, Due Diligence, etc.
- Discuss and update the partner on quarterly budgets for all tax deliverables.
Opportunities Pipelines:
- Track and update all opportunities in the software system, including wins and lost pipelines.
Timesheets:
- Compile staff timesheets in a pivot table to monitor chargeability and utilization.
Client Tax Progress Control (TPC)/Tax Status Report:
- Monitor staff work progress on all client matters.
- Generate weekly status reports to ensure financial accounts are received and updated, commence work, and start the fee quote process to bill clients timely.
- Allocate managers' portfolios in terms of budgets and assist in staff portfolio budget calculations.
- Update ceased client/waiver lists and maintain the clients' database.
General Admin:
- Update tax library books' listings as needed.
- Sort IRAS letters, scan, and disseminate to the engagement team.
- Assign tickets to the respective tax engagement team daily.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Studies, Business Management, Business Finance, Accountancy, or a relevant discipline.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with strong budgeting, financial analysis, and project management skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving, committed, resilient under pressure, and capable of working under tight deadlines.
- A good team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English and Chinese, both verbal and written.
