Description
The Group CFO has the overall responsibility for the strategic planning, implementation, managing and running of all the financial activities and actions of a company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk and governance. The Group CFO is a member of the Executive Committee.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all financial processes and matters, including cost accounting and controlling, preparation and monitoring of budgets and rolling forecast, monthly closing, and timely preparation of financial reports according to policies and regulations
- Analyse business data, initiate, and monitor corrective action plans to achieve strategic targets and budget guidelines
- Coordinate bank matters with holding company in Mauritius to meet liquidity needs
- Manage and exercise direct responsibility for controlling and reporting, accounts receivable and customer credit, accounts payable
- Manage cash flow and support business and AR management with financing solutions as and when needed
- Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
- Takes charge of financial analysis & reporting to holding company
- Supervise, manage and ensure all fiscal activities of all group companies are in compliant with accounting practices, standards, reporting procedures with all relevant regulations, shareholder and board requirements
- Manage tax (including reporting and planning) and audit activities as well as legal issues within Singapore frameworks; prepare and sign legal contracts for the company
- Supervise and advise on process design requirements, financial, credit and commercial terms, vendor selection and management for all products and platforms at operational level including but not limited to payments and collections
- Represent the company in all negotiations and communication initiatives
- Corporate secretarial matters including the updating of corporate records, preparation of board / shareholders resolutions, minutes and other corporate documentation
Requirement
- MBA in Finance
- At least 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields.
- Proven track record in leadership roles, ideally in the renewable energy sector.
- Experience working with senior leadership teams and board members.
- Significant experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), risk management, budgeting, and reporting.
