Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all calculations.
- Conduct cost analysis and manage cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and subcontracts.
- Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to secure the best prices for services and materials.
- Monitor project costs against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure work meets required standards and specifications.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in the marine or construction industry is required.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
