Role Overview
This Account Analyst position will be a part of PIMCO’s Singapore-based South Asia Client Management team covering institutions and wholesale distributors, with the primary focus to service clients, as well as to support business development, investment support and marketing initiatives. The client profiles include sovereign wealth funds, central banks, government and quasi-governments, pensions, insurance, corporates, endowments, and financial institutions (including offshore distribution initiatives). As the experience level increases, the candidate will be expected to have more client engagement with the objective of driving secular growth for the business.
This position reports to the Account Manager (Senior Vice President) of the South Asia Client Management team and will be based in Singapore.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
This position requires an analytical, detail-oriented professional who can:
- Provide high quality client coverage as a support to the Account Management team.
- Prepare client reports and DDQs spanning performance, strategy, trading activity, portfolio valuation and risk metrics, analyzing portfolio data including qualitative and quantitative performance attribution.
- Respond to ad-hoc client queries.
- Support operational client issues, such as client onboarding, portfolio transitions, guideline compliance, etc. in collaboration with relevant internal functions.
- Support business development opportunities, marketing/sales campaigns and events, RFPs, and meeting presentations.
- Prepare and update client presentation material in PowerPoint, working with multiple parties such as the account managers, product team and compliance.

Education
- Must possess at least an Undergraduate Degree in Finance/Business, Economics or a related field.
- Demonstrate an interest in progressing toward a CFA and/or CAIA.
