Responsibilities
- To supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents and site instructions.
- To check all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans
- To check on quality of materials and samples delivered to site.
- To check trial panel & mock-up done on site and off site, Where necessary.
- To ensure that the required construction tests in connection with the construction works are carried out where necessary.
- To ensure emergency preparedness protocols are adhered to by the contractors during trial runs or actual emergencies.
- To prepare defect lists, monitor progress of rectification works and ensure all defects are satisfactorily rectified. Carry out coordination of all services.
- To supervise works to comply with statutory requirements
- Inspect and maintain records of equipment/machinery/licensed machinery operator/permits
- To ensure all works are being carried out in accordance with the approved plans
- To attend site, progress, variation and coordinate meetings and to keep proper minutes of these meetings.
- To help resolve contractors’ queries and coordinated the works with other contractors.
- To facilitate the timely taking over of site parcels to be handed over by other contractors and highlight any issues that will delay the progress of the works.
- To ensure that proper and updated records of all works
Requirements
- Diploma/ Degree in Arch/C&S Engineering from a University accredited by the Professional Board, Singapore
- Must be accredited as a Resident Technical Officer with BCA/IES/ACES
- 5 to 8 years’ site working experience in Singapore, Arch, C&S and M&E in building projects
