5. Commissioning (Cx) Engineer – Mechanical, Data Centre MEP
Role: Supports the lead mechanical commissioning engineer by conducting tests and inspections of mechanical systems critical to data center operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the commissioning and performance testing of mechanical systems, including chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, and CRAC units.
Perform functional tests of HVAC and cooling systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and environmental requirements for continuous operation.
Document mechanical system test results and prepare reports for the Cx Lead Engineer.
Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues, ensuring systems are optimized for redundancy and cooling performance.
Ensure that all mechanical systems meet the data center’s performance, efficiency, and reliability standards.
Skills Required: Knowledge of HVAC and cooling systems for data centers, mechanical testing and troubleshooting skills, ability to follow detailed commissioning procedures, and attention to detail in documentation.
