Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor vessel schedule (including status and updates) and ensuring it runs as planned and track and review any changes
- Manage Service (and vessel) Schedules as well as manage any and update contingencies which are planned in advance through discussion with stakeholders
- Coordinate with internal stakeholder (Trade, Marketing, Network, Fleet, Regional Operations, Equipment, Stowage, Offshore etc) to ensure system is updated in a timely and accurate manner
- Coordinate and perform negotiation with Alliance and Slot partners (schedule, accident etc) to meet internal requirements
- Manage Non-Critical Accidents through timely incident reporting
- Gather Port & Berth information on a regular basis (e.g. conditions, charges, etc.)
- Manage vessel bunker consumption to ensuring it is on target
- Assist to verify slot cost settlement
- Distribute General Sailing Instruction promptly and completely prior to vessel’s commencement in service
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in transportation and logistics or equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Good communication and negotiation skills in order to balance interest of various parties
- Strong organization and co-ordinataion skills
- Strong analytical skills to assess situations, provide contingencies and evaluate cost impace
- Able to work independently with sense of urgency
- Liner shipping operations experience advantageous
