Metta Home for the Disabled, part of Metta Welfare Association, is dedicated to providing holistic care and support for adults with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to empower individuals to live independent lives, integrating them into the community while enhancing their quality of life.
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our clients:
- Provide nursing care and manage the medical needs of clients, including administering medication and supplements.
- Ensure clients’ safety and support their engagement in activities in a safe environment.
- Review daily reports on clients' activities and assess progress in terms of Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Cognitive/Leisure Skills (CLS).
- Mentor and guide junior nursing staff to enhance team performance and client care.
- Assist staff nurses in managing patient care and conducting assessments.
- Coordinate clients’ medical appointments and follow-ups as required.
Other Responsibilities
- Participate in donor, volunteer, and fundraising events.
- Assist with any other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of related nursing experience.
- Professional Certificate / NITEC in Nursing and registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.
- Willing to do shift work.
- Experience working with persons with special needs or geriatrics is preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Hardworking, meticulous, and responsible.
Working Hours:
- 6 days a week with 3 shift hours.
