Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with SME clients, understanding their financial needs and business goals.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing prompt support for inquiries, requests, and guidance.
- Identify and pursue new lending opportunities within the SME market, through prospecting and lead generation.
- Conduct credit assessments and risk analyses to evaluate loan applicants’ financial stability.
- Structure and negotiate loan terms, adhering to lending policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage an active portfolio of SME loans, monitoring loan performance, repayments, and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate loan processing and documentation.
- Offer financial advisory services to clients, helping them with business strategies, cash flow management, and capital planning.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial banking, SME lending, or relationship management, with a strong business development and credit analysis background.
- Track record in originating and managing SME loan portfolios and achieving lending targets.
- Strong financial analysis skills, including expertise in evaluating financial statements and credit risk factors.
- Knowledge of credit underwriting, loan structuring, and risk mitigation in SME lending.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to build client rapport and convey complex financial concepts clearly.
- Skilled in networking and building connections with key stakeholders in the SME sector.
