SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER / ASSOCIATE ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

The Senior Account Manager / Associate Account Director role is at the very heart of the business and critical to its market perception and business health. Collectively as an integral community within the Agency tasked with creating a recognized market-leading position in strategic creative communications planning, implementational & executional excellence and client & business management. As the lead on your set of accounts, the Senior Account Manager / Associate Account Director plays an important role in attaining this ambition.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Client relationship management: Effective ownership of the relationships with clients, agencies partners and inter-agency teams.
  • Be regarded as the Account lead for all of the client’s creative communication requirements: The creation of creative communication plans that build from strategic insight developed for individual client and their business requirements.
  • Day to day account management leadership of assigned accounts: The day-to-day account, team and project management of existing campaign and activities.
  • Ensuring effective and efficient implementation (creative strategy and excellence) by the team or through the relevant internal or external specialists or partners
  • Business poise and earns confidence of both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ultimate responsibility for all product (and deliverables) that goes to your client.
  • Involvement in development of insights & creative communications solutions.
  • Contribution to and help leadership of planning workshops & ideas generation session.
  • Management of the implementational process
  • Lead the implementational planning process.
  • Day to day management of all delivery partners to ensure brief is delivered / bought to plan, within appropriate criteria (budget, target).
  • Motivate team to create innovative and accurate plans based on agreed strategic direction.
  • Upkeep, and timely delivery of all relevant reporting systems and templates (include creative plans, contact reports, status reports).
  • Management of post campaign reporting that quantifies the value of the creative strategy.
  • Supervision of the collation of information and data in agreed formats required. (eg competitive information, campaign data etc.)
  • Drive Profitability and Productivity
  • Maximize productivity by effectively managing workload and client expectations.
  • Identify and introduce appropriate solutions and other services.
  • Managing your team and the specialist relationships

Internal

  • Managing your direct reports, Account Managers and clear and accurate briefing of requirements and workload.
  • Manage direct reports’ career paths and development

External

  • Build effective working relationships with other agencies & partners
  • Protecting our high standards
  • Ensure that any work that leaves the agency is of the highest standard
  • Be part of producing ideas that inspire, motivate, engage and create commercial action
  • Be part of producing award winning work
  • Always challenge “mediocrity” (if you don’t know what this means, ask your CEO)

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of industry experience of creative communications planning; with a good hands-on knowledge of creative agency tools and systems
  • Strong understanding of creative fundamentals and strategic planning capabilities
  • Strong client facing communication & presentation skills
  • Demonstrable experience in working across Asian markets and languages, in an Agency capacity on Regional or multi-country level is a huge plus
  • Good understanding of marketing in all facets – ATL, BTL, etc
  • Good understanding of what’s next in marketing, media, emerging tech and data - and a willingness to push boundaries.
  • A confident speaker and presenter.
  • An excellent people manager with a tonne of passion for delivering business results.
