Job Scope
- Establish, implement, maintain and continually improve the Safety & Health Management System (SHMS ), Safety Case and relevant safety and health programmes and initiatives.
- Assume the role of Safety Case Lead and work with relevant departments in the development, implementation and maintenance of Safety Case.
- Support departments to review their risk assessments to identify foreseeable hazards and risks as well as propose reasonably practicable measures to eliminate/reduce the risks to as low as reasonably practicable.
- Conduct and manage the WSH Committee Inspections & Meetings as well as other safety & health site inspections to create a safe working environment and follow-up to close findings raised
- Develop and conduct Safety & Health related trainings to relevant personnel (employees/contractors) to enhance their safety knowledge & awareness to carry out the work safely.
- Conduct incident investigations and ensure proper closure of the corrective actions
- Support Fire Safety Manager (FSM) on Emergency Response & Fire Safety related matters.
- Any other duties as assigned by Factory Manager/ Senior Regional Safety Manager
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering
- Certified and registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)
- Preferably 2-3 years working experience in a process manufacturing industry
