[What the role is]
We are looking for resourceful and service-oriented individual to join the Operations & Facilities Management Department which oversees the operation and maintenance of Government cemeteries, crematoria and columbaria.
[What you will be working on]
You will play a key role in providing after-death care services and your job responsibilities include:
- Oversee counter services operations for cremation, niche and general enquiries
- Conduct niche inspections and manage niche records
- Attend to public feedback and enquiries
- Manage the rollout of systems and system enhancements for after-death services applications
- Review work processes for frontline service counter and system applications for improvement
- Assist supervisor with administrative duties
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
[What we are looking for]
Requirements:
- Experience in customer service would be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Able to lead, interact and foster teamwork
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Able to handle adverse situations and difficult customers
- Good problem-solving, writing and communication skills
- Mature, independent, responsible and resourceful
- Willing to work in an after-death care service environment
- Able and willing to work on weekends and public holidays
