Responsibilities:
- Schedule, plan and execution of new projects.
- Organizing and motivating a project team (tender to completion).
- Oversee the construction team and planning of project budgetary.
- Manage manpower activity and resource planning.
- Conduct performance assessment for all assigned teams under your care.
- Conduct bi-weekly or monthly (where applicable), management the execution of construction works, including monitoring work progress and quality and progress reports.
- Manage vendors and sub-con for progression of work and assessment of their performance
- Responsible for all the site implementation and completion towards management target, client’s expectation and compliance to authorities’ regulations.
- Responsible for the project quality and safety plan.
- Ensure company ISO and OHSAS requirements are fully implemented on project.
- Coordinating with Authorities, Clients, Consultants and Subcontractors on all project aspects.
- Work closely with Engineering team on any technical issues arising from site and lead the supervision and resolution of work onsite.
- Manage progress claims, payments and cash flow and variation orders.
Requirements:
- Min. Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Min. 10 years of relevant experience
- Possess technical, financial and project management knowledge
- Hands on and walk the site
- Able to apply knowledge to the situation and train staff
- Lead the project from tender stage and run the job until it is completed
- Good at problem solving and able to identify issues
- Mature, reliable and dependable
- A team player and not just an individual contributor
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to interpret technical information and numerical data
- Well-organised, able to prioritise work and be very thorough
