Job Summary

The Marketing Assistant supports the marketing manager in executing marketing campaigns, managing day-to-day activities, and ensuring smooth operations within the marketing department. This role involves a mix of administrative, creative, and analytical tasks aimed at enhancing brand visibility and contributing to the overall marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Execution Support

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and effective campaign delivery.
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, assisting in adjustments as needed.

Content Creation and Management

  • Support the creation of marketing materials, including social media posts, email newsletters, blog content, and promotional materials.
  • Maintain and update the company website and social media platforms.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and is optimized for target audiences.

Administrative Support

  • Assist with marketing-related administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing marketing calendars.
  • Organize and coordinate events, trade shows, or webinars.
  • Maintain databases and manage customer or lead information for follow-up campaigns.

Market Research

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive activity.
  • Compile and analyze data to provide insights on customer preferences and industry trends.

Brand Support

  • Help ensure brand consistency across all channels, from marketing materials to social media posts.
  • Assist in updating promotional content and monitoring brand presence across digital platforms.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with the sales and product teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Assist in coordinating communication with external vendors, media, and advertising agencies.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, social media scheduling tools).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing or administrative role (internships included).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms, SEO, and digital marketing principles is a plus.
