Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Data Analyst to be a part of Risk Management Team and to work for projects with a leading bank.
Mandatory Skill-set
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Computer Science;
- At least 2-4 years of experience as a Business, System or Data Analyst within banking industry;
- Have a good understanding of data analysis and reconciliations;
- Must be proficient in the UAT process and overall UAT management of UAT;
- Very good proficiency in SQL queries/scripting and able to extract data from databases;
- Good Understanding of Stakeholder management and requirements gathering;
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
Desired Skill-set
- DataMart or Banking products experience and knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Work within Risk Management team and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to become an effective “bridge” between users and technology;
- Able to prepare proper documentation on the data flow, design, business solutioning and testing approach in accordance with predefined template;
- Should collate and rationalise all stakeholders’ requirements and walkthrough these requirements with team;
- Responsible to handle large volume of data for analysis, reconciliation and testing;
- Actively partner the team in the solutioning process to ensure that the business solutions are properly implemented in line with the user needs;
- Responsible for overall UAT management in terms of timelines, batch runs and managing the testing results;
- Responsible for understanding the scope of the project, the changes associated and support the Project Manager in impact assessment.
