Job Description:
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive cloud strategy that aligns with organizational goals, leveraging best practices in cloud computing and migration methodologies.
- Lead cloud migration projects, including On-Prem to AWS migration, On-Prem to On-Prem, Physical to Virtual, and Non x86 replatform migrations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements during the workshop session.
- Design robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures using VMware, AWS, Azure, and Azure VMware Solution tailored to meet business requirements.
- Create architectural diagrams, specifications, and detailed designs that outline the overall architecture and integration points of the solutions.
- Provide technical leadership in cloud projects, guiding teams on cloud best practices, architecture, and implementation strategies for multi-cloud environment.
- Continuously monitor cloud performance, optimizing resources for cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Implement automation and orchestration using tools like Ansible and VMware vRealize Automation to enhance operational efficiency and deployment consistency.
- Utilize VMware NSX for networking and security within cloud environments, ensuring effective management and compliance.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure cohesive implementation of cloud solutions.
- Maintain documentation of cloud architectures, configurations, and processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Communicate technical concepts and cloud strategies to stakeholders at all levels, providing updates and insights on cloud initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Programming & Systems Analysis/Science (Computer Studies).
- 6-8 years of Extensive knowledge of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and services.
- 4-6 years in VMware technologies, including vSphere, NSX, and vRealize Automation.
- 3 years of Strong experience with AWS services and AWS Landing Zone configurations.
- 3-4 years exp with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
- Good experience with automation tools like Ansible.
- Proficient in Red Hat Linux and non-x86 architectures.
