Business Analyst & Tester (Bank) (JT) (Agile)

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and system requirements. Translate these into detailed test plans, ensuring all functionality aligns with business needs and project goals.


2. Test case development and execution: Develop and document clear and well-targeted test cases to be used by yourself, other QA testers based on Business Requirements, current System functionality and Functional Specification/ Narratives.


3. Defines complete level of test scenarios and variations in data to adequately perform end to end testing.


4. Process Improvement – Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Continuously refine QA processes, incorporating best practices for efficiency and effectiveness.


5. Thoroughly test multiple functionalities and document the results by capturing end to end testing steps during execution.


6. Submits defects and issues to development for correction, and retests once errors have been corrected following established procedures.


7. Tracks defects and causal analysis to closure.


8. Ensures that testing is completed on schedule.


9. Closely collaborate with development team and business users throughout the entire project.


10. Use analytical and problem-solving skills to recognize and reduce redundancies in testing efforts, minimize complexity, and create efficiency without compromising effectiveness.


11. Effectiveness to work both independently and within a team environment. with tight deadlines and changing priorities


12. UAT support and coordination: Support user acceptance testing by coordinating with end users, gathering feedback.


13. Working with vendors and product owners and End Users within organization.


14. Support Test Manager to oversee respective testing activities


Preferred Qualifications:

1. Candidate should possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.


2. At least 2-3 years of experience in the field of software Quality Assurance, preferably in Banking domain.


3. 1- years of experience in Business Analyst role or demonstrated capability to performance BA functions.


4. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.


5. Certification in Quality Assurance (ISTQB, CSTE) or Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) are a plus.


6. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel.


7. Experience in using JIRA tool, SQL, API,


8. Pro-active, independent, resourceful and able to work in a team


9. Advanced knowledge of test methodologies and approaches
