Job objectives and qualification
STATE Aviation is seeking aviation technical experts to support an aircraft manufacturing company in design engineering and showing of compliance for transport category airplanes / large aeroplanes. Prospective candidates should have significant and proven working experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Systems Safety Engineering: Including but not limited to assessing and managing aircraft design according to ARP4761 and/or ARP4761A, and ARP 4754A.
- Software and/or Embedded Electronics Engineering: Including but not limited to defining and developing software / embedded software / airborne electronic hardware according to DO-178C and DO-254.
- Design Engineering Management: Including but not limited to the management of aircraft and aircraft systems design in compliance with Part-21 or equivalent regulations.
Primary Responsibilities
The Senior Technical Experts (STE) will work with the relevant team members of an assigned aircraft manufacturing company (Client) to support the generation of documents, test plans, and reports as required for design and showing of compliance. The aim is to grow the Client’s team to high levels of the right expertise by being technical mentors and by leading-by-example. The STE may also be asked to assist and advise the Client in reviewing engineering designs, plans, and organizational procedures to ensure that their organization has the right capabilities for effective design assurance.
