Our client, a renowned developer , has an opportunity for a Winner to join the Team as a Quantative Risk Analyst.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement risk management frameworks and tools to aid decision-making.
- Conduct risk analysis and research, leading and managing projects for timely execution.
- Engage with asset management, investment, treasury, and finance teams to analyze risk impacts and financial performance.
- Perform both qualitative and quantitative risk assessments for the Group’s portfolio using various models (e.g., Value at Risk, stress testing).
- Provide independent assessments for acquisitions and divestments.
- Review methodologies and set benchmark hurdle rates for investment evaluation.
- Conduct financial modeling and prepare quarterly risk reports and presentations for risk committees and the board of directors.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Real Estate, or related quantitative fields.
- 4-8 years in analytical or investment roles, ideally in quantitative risk management (credit/market/liquidity) within financial institutions. Experience in real estate investment, project financing, equity research, corporate finance, or property valuation is also considered.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling (scenario analysis, stress-testing, VaR, CAPM).
- Excellent research abilities, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel modeling skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask across different projects.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as VBA or Python.
- Professional certifications like FRM, PRM, or CFA are advantageous.
