Job Scope:
- Lead the design and development of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management
- Create and review detailed design drawings and models using CAD software
- Conduct design analysis and simulations to validate performance and reliability
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and design team members
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical support
- Identify and troubleshoot design issues, implementing effective solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance design processes
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for project milestones and reviews
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- Over 5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment design
- Strong knowledge and experience in:
- Design of automation or semiconductor equipment
- High precision machine design
- High-speed pick and place mechanisms
- Familiarity with 3D Computer Aided Design software
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate projects effectively
- Self-motivated and capable of independent work, with strong communication skills
- Equipment troubleshooting skills
- Ability to produce detailed mechanical drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing knowledge
