Supporting the Mechanical Maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance works in a safe, efficient and timely manner in accordance with maintenance strategy, to meet planned schedule requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure that plant equipment and auxiliary systems continue to operate smoothly and efficiently
- Perform repair or replacement of defective or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment
- Assist with the monitoring of contractors involved in maintenance on site and maintain asset maintenance plans
- Attend to work orders allocated by Mechanical Engineers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Preferably 3 years of relevant experience in Power Plants or related industries will be advantageous
- Self-driven, with a good working attitude, and a good team player.
- Have a safety mindset and display good workplace safety behavior.
- Be a part of the CERT team and be actively involved in emergency responses whenever called upon.
