Job Scope:
- Create and develop mechanical designs for products or systems using CAD software
- Oversee and manage engineering projects from conception to completion
- Prepare detailed technical specifications, reports, and documentation
- Collaborate on the creation of prototypes and conduct testing for design evaluation
- Work closely with other engineering disciplines and manufacturing teams
- Identify design issues and develop innovative solutions
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns
- Engage with clients to understand needs and provide technical support
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in semiconductor or automation equipment design; more experience considered for senior roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and techniques
- Experience with mechanical design using SolidWorks preferred; familiarity with Autodesk/AutoCAD is a plus
- Solid knowledge of material properties required for senior positions
- Good communication, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills needed for senior roles
- Willingness to travel for overseas projects if necessary
