Job Description:
- Support the handshake between development team (i.e. NPD, New Product Development) and NPI for the assigned portfolio, by making sure that all results, reports and deliverables are reviewed and available.
- Coordinate with engineering and product management departments and develop and implement Manufacturing Plan for products which includes planning, scheduling, and monitoring of material movements through the workflow process to meet build schedules. Analyzes and anticipates project material requirements to ensure required materials are properly forecasted and driven. Resolves material supply issues.
- Monitors and ensures NPI cycle goals are met, including provision of shortage reports, navigating deviations. Communicates on-time delivery, delays, and/or changing priorities for NPI lots to all stakeholders.
- Secure the system readiness for mass production, by collecting and providing all the required information to the system owners (e.g. Bill Of Materials (BOM), Process flow specifics (e.g. UPH estimates, PCP, etc.), Traceability
- Support Operations during the first stages of the volume ramp up.
- Prepare and update the product data base for new products and ensure its correctness.
- Liaise with preceding production sites delivering wafers into BE2 regarding meeting and monitoring of committed throughput times, optimization of shipment flow - seamless transition between BE1 and BE2 without impact by warehouse and production restrictions (opening hours, limited support on weekends etc.).
- Determine at BE1/2 sides reasons for shortcomings in committed delivery times, address and resolve non-technical or non-fundamental technical issues directly with BE1/2 sites as first line of defense and channel recurring or fundamental system or technology shortcomings into the correct support channels (e.g. NPI or Technology team in San Diego).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- APICS certification.
- 3+ years of experience creating, scheduling, and maintaining program plans, planning and coordinating materials, production operations, or engineering project development.
- 2+ years of experience with program management tools.
- 2+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
- 2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- 1+ year of working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.
