Company Background
Our client, an internationally operating family business established in 1883 and headquartered in Wuppertal, Germany, specializes in high-quality household products, including a renowned kitchen appliance and vacuum cleaner. Already active in Malaysia, it plans to strengthen its position in Singapore with the opening of a flagship store in early 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Sales Management
- Establish and lead the flagship store in Singapore, ensuring a top-notch customer experience with the Thermomix product.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet the company's revenue and growth objectives.
Brand Development
- Work closely with the Marketing team to implement social media campaigns and develop brand awareness.
- Drive the “It’s IN having a Thermomix” initiative through innovative retail marketing and in-store events.
Customer Engagement
- Build strong relationships with customers, retail partners, and other stakeholders to grow the Thermomix brand in Singapore.
- Recognize business opportunities and develop bids to win new business.
P&L Management
- Monitor and manage the financial performance of the flagship store.
- Work with the General Manager (Malaysia) to align business strategies and financial goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in retail sales, with significant experience in brand management.
- Preference given to candidates with a background in the technology or high-end product sector
- Proficient in P&L Management.
- Strong social media and marketing acume
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to think strategically
- Highly motivated, hands-on, and passionate about
