We are seeking a dedicated Data Center Security Project Management Specialist to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to physical and digital security in our data centers. This role combines expertise in security systems with project management skills to ensure that all security measures are implemented effectively, on time, and within budget.
- Develop project plans for implementing or upgrading physical and digital security systems, including surveillance, access control, and fire suppression systems.
Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in alignment with organizational goals. - Supervise the installation and maintenance of security systems in data center facilities.
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution. - Ensure all security measures meet regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to address potential vulnerabilities. - Track project progress using project management tools, ensuring milestones are met.
Conduct regular quality checks and tests on security systems to ensure functionality and reliability. - Prepare detailed reports on project status, security performance, and compliance.
Maintain accurate documentation for all security-related projects. - Develop and implement response plans for security incidents.
Train staff and stakeholders on emergency protocols and security procedures.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Security Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in security operations and project management, preferably in a data center environment.
- Strong understanding of physical security systems, access control, and surveillance technologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Agile).
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or CPP are an advantage.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines.
