The Sales Manager will oversee the sales strategy, team performance, and customer relationships to achieve ambitious revenue goals. This individual will play a key role in expanding the brand’s presence across retail, e-commerce, and distribution channels while fostering a high-performing and customer-focused sales culture.

You will also be responsible for:

Sales Strategy Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and profitability targets.
  • Create sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics to guide team efforts.
  • Design promotional campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed performance goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a results-driven and customer-centric team culture.

Channel Management

  • Optimize and expand sales channels, including retail, e-commerce, and distribution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with retail partners, distributors, and wholesalers.
  • Ensure consistent product availability and optimal placement across all channels.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and accounts.
  • Address major customer concerns to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Leverage CRM tools to track interactions and identify opportunities for growth.

Market Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product improvements and marketing efforts.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

Sales Process Optimization

  • Streamline sales workflows to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
  • Implement tools and technologies to improve sales tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration Across Departments

  • Work closely with marketing to align campaigns with sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with product development to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Partner with operations and logistics to ensure seamless delivery processes.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and analyze sales performance to provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports with data-driven recommendations.
  • Adjust strategies based on performance metrics and market feedback.

Brand Representation

  • Represent the brand at trade shows, events, and in high-level negotiations.
  • Act as a brand ambassador to communicate the brand’s mission and values.
  • Build the brand’s reputation by delivering excellent customer experiences.

Driving Revenue Growth

  • Implement upselling and cross-selling strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Explore new markets and demographics for the brand’s products.
  • Lead initiatives to increase sales during promotional campaigns and peak seasons.

We would want to speak with you if you are / have –

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in consumer goods or retail.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for decision-making.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics software.

It would be great if you have:

  • Experience in retail and e-commerce sales management.
  • Knowledge of the consumer goods industry and emerging market trends.
  • Success in managing and expanding distribution and retail partnerships.
